The asymmetric foot of the glasses in the Smoke collection is designed to provide a secure grip, allowing you to indulge in the pleasure of a cigar or cigarette while enjoying your drink: the ideal vessels for savouring the anticipated moments throughout the day.

Designer Joe Colombo

Born in Milan in 1930, Joe Colombo studied at the Brera Academy. His career as a designer began in 1953 and unfortunately ended prematurely in 1971. Colombo emerged as one of the most innovative industrial designers of the last century, renowned for his keen foresight in anticipating historical trends and future social changes. Notable among his designs are the “Elda” and “Minikitchen” armchairs from 1963, the “Spider” lamp from 1967, and the iconic “Boby” trolley introduced in 1970.

Recipient of 2 Compassi d’oro awards, Colombo’s works have been prominently displayed at the MoMA and MMA in New York, as well as the Vitra Design Museum in Berlin.
